 Posting rules and general manners
« Thread Started on Aug 26, 2007, 4:50pm »

Welcome to the Codename: Power discussion boards.

We have a few simple rules to posting here. They are pretty common sense, but unfortunately some people make it necessary to put these things up.

Posting Manners

Be considerate of each other on the boards. We do not want flame wars. Disagreements will always come up, but if it gets to the point where a thread is two or three people agruing back and forth, you need to take it to private messages. If you do not, we will lock the thread, delete all flame posts, and deal with you on a personal level.

We don't believe in censoring. If you've read the book, you've figured that out. However, there are just a few things we don't want to see on these boards. If you hit on one of those things, you will know. Other than that, we just ask that you keep the other posters in mind when you post. Try not to piss everyone off.

We ask that if, for some reason, a visually explicit image needs to be posted, that you link to it with a warning of the content. Some people may check this at work, and we're not trying to get anyone fired.

Do not spam. If you are here to promote yourself or a product of yours (or someone elses), and that is your sole purpose in being here, then you will be gone. If you promote something in context of a conversation, that's fine, but no one wants to log in to an advertisement board.

Lastly, just be mature and use decent judgement on these boards. We're here to have fun, too, we don't want to spend our nights babysitting.

If you have any questions, suggestions, or complaints, please message one of these three users (preferably in the order shown):

travis
protspeck

We will do our best to bring satisfaction to whatever queries you have.
